Bradford Mela

There's a fresh new look this year for one of Britain's largest and longest established Mela - with 140,000 visitors anticipated at Peel Park.
There's sure to be something for everyone - with a varied and colourful programme celebrating arts, crafts and cultures from around the world, combining community events and participation, alongside hundreds of market stalls, food and a world class music programme.

Peel Park is situated within Bolton Road, Cliffe Road, Lister Lane and Peel Park View.

Car Parking

Secure on site car parking is now available at the Mela.

It can be accessed from Cliffe Road and Lister Lane. This will be charged at £3.

Disabled Parking is available on Cliffe Road immediately outside the entrance to the Park.

There is free on street parking on Lister Lane and Valley View Grove.

Please check the signs as restricted parking is in operation in all other areas in the vicinity of the park.

Police and traffic wardens will be operating in the area fining cars parked without resident permits.

This event takes place in a residential area so please respect the local community who will need to get to their homes throughout the weekend.

If you are travelling from the south, east or west of Bradford, you will probably find it most convenient to use the M62 and the M606.

If you are arriving from the north-west you will probably use the A629/A650 via Skipton and Keighley.

From the north-east it is most convenient to use the A1 or A19, and reach Bradford via the A59 and then the A658 south of Harrogate.

By Air

There are direct regular air services into Leeds/Bradford International Airport, from London Heathrow, and also from Belfast, Dublin, and the Isle of Man.

International connections can be made through London Heathrow or Amsterdam, Brussels or Paris.

Bradford can be reached from the Airport by taxi at a cost of about £15.
