Southampton Mela

The Southampton Mela Festival is a free festival full of an assortment of musical styles, accelerating dance acts and mouth watering food plus a wide range of family activities all celebrating South Asian culture.

Leading Indian Classical, Folk, World Music, Qawwali, Asian fusion and Bhangra artists. Top dance acts from Bollywood to Belly dancing.
Workshops and demonstrations in music and dance.
Family fun with a range of Arts & Crafts activities, a designated play area and funfair.
Stalls - varying from ethnic clothes and accessories, beauty and henna hand tattooing, arts & crafts, community and much more
